The “System Biologic” biofilter lids are suitable for most two-wheeled garbage bins according to DIN EN 840. The lid is equipped with an integrated seal to ensure air always passes through the biofilter. It prevents flies and maggots. Bad-smelling compounds are decomposed by microorganisms inside the biofilter into odorless substances like carbon dioxide and water.

For citizens:

No odor around the garbage bin
No maggots or flies in the bin
Microorganisms in the biofilter decompose fermentation gases
Binding of health-hazardous fungal spores

For municipalities:

Increased acceptance of bio bins among citizens
Increased rate of voluntary connection to the organic waste bin
Scientifically proven increase in the quantity and quality of organic waste
Problem-free 14-day collection interval in summer
Reduction in waste disposal and nitrogen oxide emissions
Significant cost reduction

For waste managers:

Increased rate of voluntary connection to the organic waste bin
More efficient collection planning
Reduced emptying costs per bin
The “System Biologic” biofilter lid is currently the most effective technical solution for minimizing the problem of flies and maggots due to the separate collection of bio-waste.
