BAUTEQ DUST PROOFER

A chemical solution that strengthens concrete surfaces and makes them dust-free, used on industrial and warehouse floors, as well as for finishing garage floors. It increases the floor’s wear resistance, and resistance to water, oils, and chemicals, while keeping the surface breathable.

BAUTEQ Dust Proofer is intended for use on industrial, warehouse, garage floors, and parking areas, making the floors dust-free while improving wear resistance, water repellency, and chemical resistance. The natural concrete color, surface finish, and breathability are preserved.

As an impregnation agent, it penetrates into the pores of the concrete and reacts with the substrate, creating a dense, crystalline surface. Thanks to additives, it increases water and oil repellency. When exposed to water, the free active ingredient forms a gel, which moves through and densifies the porous surface, providing lasting protection throughout the entire service life of the concrete.

Dust Proofer is not suitable for natural stone surfaces or outdoor use.

Application conditions

Fresh concrete surfaces must harden for at least 20 days at 15–20 °C before impregnation.
Air and substrate temperature during application must be between 10–25 °C.
The surface must be clean, dry, and free of dust.

Instructions for use
The surface is impregnated in three steps:

1. Mix 1 part Dust Proofer with 2 parts water (1:2) and apply to the concrete surface with a soft brush. Apply generously to allow deep penetration. After 10 minutes, remove excess solution and let dry for 40–60 minutes.
2. Mix 1 part Dust Proofer with 1 part water (1:1) and apply as before. After 10 minutes, remove excess solution and let dry for 40–60 minutes.
3. Mix 2 parts Dust Proofer with 1 part water (2:1) and apply as in previous steps. Wait 10 minutes, then remove excess solution.
4. It is crucial to remove all unabsorbed solution to avoid puddling; otherwise, white salt stains may later form. The treated surface must dry for at least 24 hours before use.
   Important: The three application steps must be carried out consecutively. Otherwise, hardened material will block the pores of the concrete, preventing proper absorption. In such a case, Dust Proofer’s effectiveness will be incomplete, and stains may appear on the surface.

Consumption

When impregnating in three steps, the consumption of undiluted Dust Proofer is approx. 0.5 L/m².

Cleaning

Tools and clothing should be washed immediately with water. Dried material can be removed mechanically. Hardened material can be removed from the substrate mechanically or with hot steam.

Storage

Guaranteed shelf life: 24 months from the date of manufacture, if stored in a dry place in tightly sealed original packaging at +5 °C to +30 °C. Protect from frost!

Safety requirements

Irritates eyes, respiratory system, and skin. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Wear suitable protective gloves. Keep out of reach of children. More detailed safety information is available in the product Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
