The 48×198 planed C24 plank is 48mm thick and 198mm wide strength graded, CE marked and rough planed wood. It is dimensionally accurate lumber suitable for framing and construction. Strength-graded wood is always used in the load-bearing structures. Strength class C24 is the most common strength class used in construction.
48×198 planed C24 plank is rough lumber. It is most often used in frame structures of warm rooms.
For wood, the lengths are different. Our most common stock lengths range from 3.6m to 6m. Length measurements vary between 300mm (feet).
Planed = Coarse-planed lumber of exact size. Planing is done by planing the sawn material at a high feed rate, approx. 1 mm on both sides. The planing mark is therefore rough, has wavy edges and the product may also have unplaned areas.
The strength of the lumber used in the load-bearing structures is classified in C classes according to the EN 388 standard. Strength class C24 is the most widely used in Finland and is suitable for load-bearing structures.
The wood is PEFC certified. If desired, we can also get wood chopped and delivered to your home.
