The black 15.8 kW heater is suitable for saunas with a volume of 16–25 m³. A separate control unit is required to operate the heater, such as the C150, C170VKK, or Xenio. Safe and stylish protective railings are also available for the sides of the Virta heater.

HARVIA C170VKK CONTROL UNIT

Combined weekly timer and remote-control unit for single-group heaters with a power range of 2.3–17 kW. The heater can be switched on and off immediately using the control unit’s manual quick-start button. The maximum operating time can be limited to 6, 12, or 18 hours.
The programmable weekly timer allows the heater to be switched on and off automatically on selected days of the week and at selected times. The control unit also offers versatile remote-control functions. In addition, indicator and control signals can be transmitted to external devices. A separate temperature sensor is included.

Thanks to its durable construction, heating elements arranged in two groups, and easy maintenance, the Virta Pro heater is an excellent choice even for intensive use.
If a heating element needs to be replaced, it can be done quickly and easily because the entire heating element module can be pulled out of the heater.
Other maintenance requirements have also been taken into account from the very beginning of the heater’s design.
Minimum sauna height: 210 cm

Recommended sauna stone diameter: 10–15 cm. Use only split-face stones intended specifically for sauna heaters. Suitable stone materials include peridotite, olivine diabase, and olivine. Note: Ceramic “stones” and soft soapstones must not be used. These materials do not absorb sufficient heat during heating and may cause damage to the heating elements.
Stacking the sauna stones: Rinse stone dust from the stones before placing them in the heater. Do not drop the stones into the stone compartment. Stack the stones loosely so that air can circulate between them. Do not form a pile of stones on top of the heater.
